I just want to take a moment to send my prayers and my condolences to the family of Simone Battle. Our generation seems to be in a battle with ourselves. We lose ourselves in so many ways and continue to smile because we're so scared of disappointing those who are watching. I charge you all to forget this generational hold we have on one other. The judging and the status quo of what we perceive someone in the public eye should look or feel like. . . and begin to understand that we are not perfect, we are not invisible nor are we untouchable. Don't be scared to reach out for help and don't be scared to disappoint others in order to get yourself right.
